Signal Hill Circle Playground Construction
After a very successful fundraising program, the Signal Hill Circle Playground group are ready to build. The playground construction will take place on Thursday, September 5, Friday September 6 and Saturday, September 7. This dedicated team requires lots of help to complete this key neighbourhood project. If you would like to help out, please sign up online or email the team as noted below. SHCA Casino Event Fundraiser
Our AGLC-sponsored casino fundraising event is our primary means of raising the funds necessary to maintain our property and facilities. We are in need of several more volunteers to take on various roles at the casino during daytime and evening/night shifts on Tuesday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 11. SHCA Board Committees
If you would like to help out with community activities, but perhaps not quite ready to take on a Board of Directors position, then please consider volunteering to support one of our Board committees. We are seeking volunteers to support both the Engagement and Community Life committees. Volunteers for the Engagement Committee would be involved mainly in developing membership drives and planning/supporting the various events we hold each year. Volunteers for the Community Life committee would be involved in coordination of various maintenance activities required to support the SHCA property, park and facilities. If this is something you might be interested in and would like to learn more, please send me an email and I will gladly treat you to a coffee and provide some background and information.
