Rink Update and Rentals

Signal Hill opened the ice rink to the public on Dec 18, 2021. The rink lights go off at 9:30pm daily with the change room locked at 10pm. Ice rink maintenance will continue until mother nature decides to melt the ice which occurs in late February/early March. We have 28 rink volunteers supporting your community. When you see them working at the rink, say ‘hi’ and ‘thank you’. All these volunteers do this hard work to ensure you have this wonderful resource to enjoy in your community.

Lastly, let’s keep our ice rink open and safe for everyone.

Some reminders:

  • No Smoking
  • No Alcoholic beverages
  • No Loitering
  • No Littering
  • No sticks/pucks in the small rink (especially when little skaters are around!)

Please take care of our facility.  It is here for all of us to enjoy.  If you see any suspicious behaviour, call them out or contact police or 311.

About Us

Signal Hill was established in 1986. Our boundaries include the many neighborhoods between 17 Avenue, Sarcee Trail, Glenmore Trail and 69 Street SW.
